How do I load air units on my carrier? I tried landing on the carrier, that didn't work, and I also tried putting the carrier and air units in a port city, and there was no load option. What should I do?

Ditto. In Civ-III you "rebased" a plane to the carrier but that did not work for me last night....

You should be able to land your jets on the carrier
BTW, which type of air units?
I built a carrier for my bombers and realized they only transport jets. :)

When I tried last night it was a basic (not jet) fighter.

Yea, I did read far enough to know they no longer carried bombers (which on reflection makes a whole lot of sense :)).

No Bomber transport? OK that's why. I don't think I tried with jets.

You load a fighter onto a carrier by rebasing it. You click the rebase icon for the fighter, then go find the carrier and click on it. I think there is a green square that appears around the tile when your mouse is over a legal rebase location, which would be a city or one of your carriers. I think you can rebase planes to cities of other countries with which you have open borders, but I'm not sure of that.
