How do I research the Firewall tech as the Yor?

I've had the galaxy wide plague event and I can't work out how to research the required tech to cure it, can anyone help?

i remember being the humans, researching the organic cure tech, and then giving it to all the other races as a gift.
i couldn't find the tech, even under its Yor name, when i was talking to the Yor.
