How do you build Nuclear Plants?

Hi, I was wondering what requirments you need to build a Nuclear Plant?. Usually I can't build them, which is quite a shame.
Do you need certain terrain?

What is it that you need?

You can build them whenever you got the required technology... However, if you have already built a Power Plant or a Hydro Plant in a city you can't built a Nuclear Plant. The Hoover Dam counts for a Hydro Plant in every city so you won't be able to build any Nuclear Plants if you have it... And you won't need to either, because the Power Plant, Hydro Plant and Nuclear Plant have the exact same purpose and their effects don't add up.

Not so. A regular power plant can be replaced by a nuclear plant because it's cleaner. The rule is that you can't build a worse plant if you already have a better plant.

The order from worst to best is:

1. Power Plant (regular)
2. Nuclear Plant
3. Hydro Plant (has terrain requirements)
4. Hoover Dam (acts like a free hydro plant in all you cities)
5. Solar Plant (polution countering effects)

And this is why Hoover's Dam should rank very high in anyone's list of Wonders of the World.

I agree with Andu Indorin (amongst others.).
Who needs nuclear plants (which can of course suffer meltdown) when you can get the Hoover Dam? Nuke plants are completely unnecessary. Build Nuke Missiles instead, much more fun!
