how do you disband a city in civ 4 ... help please

That's it.. It's just that I can't find the info about it anywhere, not even a mention that it is not available. Any info would be great thanks

It's quite simple: you can't directly disband a city in cIV. The only way to "disband" a city i know is gifting it to another civ, then declaring war on that civ, taking the city and razing it. It's often too much of an expense, though.

There is a mod available which allows you to abandon cities and buildings. But be aware, that the AI can not using it, so its kind of cheating.
