How do you edit unit shields?

Hello!
I am wondering how to get a flag or anything else on a unit's shield. In the unit editor you can only modify the icon and reposition the shield, but I haven't seen any "shield editor".
Could any one help? Thanks in advance!

The shiled is always behind the unit. So you can make a unit with its own shield which fits exactly over the real shield, leaving an area blank so the health bar will show.

It's actually much easier then it sounds. All you need to do is copy and past a shield from some other unit, then 'repaint' it

But then you have to place it so that it fits exactly with the original shield. This is what I call precision work: if the repainted shield is placed too high, the health bar isn't visible...

He means copy the existing shield designs with the existing gap for the health bars and place it anywhere appropriate. You then align the blue dots so the health bar fits.

Still precision work of course but easily done.
