How do you make a build queue

Shift-click items, or RTFM.

Shift clikc the items in the city screen, like the previous poster said. You can then also CTRL-NUMBER (1, 2, 3 ...) this build queue so you can assign it to other cities easily.

Has anybody actually tried this, I have 1.52 vanilla, on great system and I cannot get it to work. I go into the city screen and build a queue and then I hit control 1, then I go into another city screen and hit 1 and nothing happens. Am I missing something?

Works for me, even if I seldom use it - are you sure you are using the number keys between the letters and function keys, i.e. not the number pad? And, silly as it may sound, you're holding CTRL down while pressing the number key to store the queue on?

Other than that, I couldn't think of a reason why it shouldn't work...

Thanks for the help (not laughing at you)...just that I was thinking to myself "Does this guy actually think that I would look for hours for a fix to this if I hadn't tried every conceivable combination of keys and such?". Then I realized that some of the people that are posting questions on this forum haven't even read the manual. So your thoughts are much appreciated.

Do I have to click on a button or place the cursor/mouse someplace before I assign the number for the cue? I know that you should be in the city main window of course.
