how do you mute leonard nimoy

It's starting to get real annoying, hearing him everytime I advance a tech. Firaxis clearly did not play test this game enough, otherwise they would have put in a mute option and found all the bugs in the game.

While I do admit it is nice hearing Leonard Nimroy's voice one or two times the first and second time you research a tech. Then it starts to get annoying. Muting would be nice.

I think you have to disable "Speech" altogether, if I recall correctly. However, then you'll also be missing out on a lot of other stuff.

What else do you miss? I muted speech after researching only a few techs, I know everyone raves about the quotes, but they drove me nuts.
