How do you play a conquest in hotseat?

I want to play a conquest like you do in single player not the crap versions in scenarios, how do you play the normal versions of the conquests?

I would assume just copy and paste the Conquest version biq file and paste it into the scenario folder, then just click on the conquest name that doesn't have the MP in front of it?

There are different "multiplayer" versions of the Conquests for a reason - you can't have more than eight players for any type of multiplayer game (hotseat included), so the MP conquests are smaller versions, often combining civs with alliances (as in Napoleon) or having a smaller map with less civs (as in Sengoku).

I'm afraid there is no way around it either.
