How do you play this commie govt?

The problem is for the warmonger. Pre C3C , AI's with WW would go communist and get creamed as their production was so weak they could not keep up with human. Now with C3C AI goes fascist when in WW difficulty and does not know communist is strong gove for spread out empire. And at the same time, they tried to balance communism to make it strong. Simply stated, they overcorrected. Communism is soooo strong now, you don't have to choose between Fascism/Communism/Monarchy. The best answer is always communism. If balanced there should be some circumstances with WW problems that fascism is best, or monarchy, or communism.

I recently took the Pepsi Challenge and tried communism. I was a die hard democracy fan, but not any more! Corruption in the late game is now a distant memory. Production is off the hook. Money? I a Bolshevik! I don't need no stinking money! :D Join the party comrade! I have yet to try fascism, but after my pleasant discovery of communism, I may have to!
 
Unless they improve fascism or depower communism, the only reason for fascism is the 200% worker speed. Fascism production is about between monarchy and republic. I used to be a republic/demo fan also, but can't justify that any longer if I have any concern about WW.

The 12 free units per metropolis is also worthwhile, but not as good as communal corruption.

Another thing that works for Communism is if you mod it rush-buy instead of forced-labor. I though that might overpower communism, but the AI still prefers Facism or Democracy. It certainly helps with that pile of gold sitting around ...
 
I'm not sure how commie is much different in C3C then it was before. The only diff is the addition of the SPHQ. Other then that commie is as it always was.
 
Does anybody use communism for a small civ? I play peaceful, and rarely cover more than 20% of the map. My experience has been that communal corruption is not beneficial for a civ that small, but I'd like to hear other opinions.
 
The simple rule for using Communism effectively is this: "There is no core!".
 
Communism is definitely overpowered. I was thinking, is there a way to mod the game and make secret police hq take effect under fascism instead?
 
I only use communism if I have a huge empire and a long war going on, with the secret police corruption is very good. I use fascism for smaller empires and long wars, peacetime I use republic and democracy

Sure, just mod it to do that. The SPHQ isn't really anything special that can't be editted using the editor.
