Hello.. I got a question. Its so small a cave man :deadhorse: could answer it. Just not me because I am not a cave man.

:thanx: : How In the world do I save a replay from a single player game? Or is there no way?

:stupid: : Also my other question is... where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?!

Thank you.

Ok... someone told me in-order to,

Save a Replay for later viewing so that you can learn from your mistakes in, Single Player, I have to wait till the end of the game. Now I clicked the "Retire Button" and get no option to Save a Replay, also I get no Auto-Matic Replay Game save either.

Does this mean you have to wait till the end of the game to where the computers actually win or lose in order to Save a Replay?

You can't save a replay in Civ4. After you win (/lose?) you will get a minimap of the world with a brief "replay" of some of the most important events during the game, where you can see how empires' borders have changed with time. As far as I know you can't save that (and I don't think you want to save that...).

Those end-of-game mini-map 'replays' are automatically saved in the "Replays" folder. You can watch them again any time by going to the hall of fame and clicking the button beside the game that you want to see again. But I don't consider this a proper replay. I don't really think much can be learnt that way.

(by the way, it is only saved if you win/lose/retire. It is automatic.)

ahhh well shoot. I saw the replay folder and I was like... do they have an actually replay system now? Been wanting to see something like that forever. Where you can re-watch previous games so you can learn from the computer and how they build.

But yeah I understand now. Thank You.
