How does PBEM work for...

I have a question on the way PTW does PBEM games on a couple of points:

1) At the beginning of the game, do you have to play those turns that are simply "Press Enter to Continue" (and nothing else)?

2) How does PBEM handle diplomacy when you want to communicate with another human participant in the PBEM game?

AFAIK...

1) Yes. Even for those turns. I know it sucks but life is like that...

2) For PBEMs, the best way is probably just to email or PM or msg the guy, off-game.

If you're talking about diplomacy, you can go to the Diplo screen and begin making offers (but you'll need to wait till the next turn to see how the other party will respond).

Thanks I'm just glad Firaxis didn't leave it up to the whims of the AI to decide if the deal was good or not for you I'm sure your advisor still gives you hints at least as to whether the computer thinks it's a good deal or not.

For the first few turns, it probably is best that way.
