How does Warlords affect vanilla Civ 4

Hi,
A few questions about Warlords (I have Warlords, but have not installed yet).

1. First off, I'm right in the middle of a long game in the vanilla version, if I install Warlords before I finish off the game, will it be affected?

2. Can you still run the vanilla version, if so, will it play the standard music, opening movie, etc or will the new Warlord stuff take over? (I know Warlords has new music, opening movie etc, just want to know how this affects the vanilla version).

I have read the Warlords manual, but these questions were not discussed...or I just missed them...

Vanilla will still run on it's own, so you can finish off your save game even if you chose to install Warlords.

The only annoyance is having to change CDs between warlords and vanilla but one is seperate from the other.
