I don´t have bought Civ 7 yet. The official advertisment of Take 2/Firaxis for Civ 7 showed, that this game in its current condition is nothing for me.

I wrote several posts at CFC, how in my eyes Civ 7 could be fixed and even offered the only mod of the civ series that I am aware, that includes since many years the thematics of "civ-switching" and "age transitions", to be used as a simulator for the questions, what can be done to make these topics acceptable in Civ 7 for many civers and what can be left out without any problems.

In my eyes the discussions about Civ 7 at CFC since a longer time are only running in circles without anything new in the arguments, therefore taking part in those discussions at present for me is a waste of my time. On the other side I try to answer questions of civers even in the Civ 7 forums, that can be answered based on the general experience of the former versions of the civ series and are not needing a special experience based on owning Civ 7.

I will not exclude, that I buy Civ 7 if it becomes significantly less expensive (under € 10,-) simply to complete my collection of games of the civ series, or if Civ 7 will receive several in my eyes urgently needed fixes and becomes less expensive than it is now (even 15 % less as in the last steam sale here in my eyes is not enough).

what, NO EDGE SCROLLING?
Sadly, yes. It somehow seems to have gotten out of main-stream overall (AKAIK, due to being unneeded or even problematic in multi-monitor setups), but I think its omission is a fairly questionable approach when at the same time accessibility of things (for good reasons) is written big. It is not a sole problem of Civ7, though...Millenia and the Master of Magic Remake released without too, but it was patched in fairly quickly afterwards...however, for Civ7 we haven't even a word from the devs whether it is considered to be added (as -maybe even default-off- option of course from my side - I don't want to force anyone into anything here :) )

Technically didn't buy my copy, it was gifted to me for my birthday. I would have bought it myself though, so I voted yes.

I'm enjoying it, despite the flaws. No regrets. Hopefully it improves.

I have bought it and while I'd like to see improvements to the UI and Civilopedia (I've not played Civ since Civ IV over 15 years ago and a lot's changed and I'e forgotten a lot since then), I like it

In all the other hubub of Civ VII I'd totally missed that there's no edge scrolling.

That's absolutely insane. How do people live like this

Mouse dragging. Never used edge scrolling and don't miss it. I forget if WASD movement is in VII?

WASD works and I'm aware of the other ways (mouse dragging, minimap navigation or relying on the unit/city cycle), since that is how I manage to play Civ7...still, for me and my techincal setup up classic edge scrolling would be much more convenient, so an option to activate it would great.

Agreed. I just responded to "how do people live like this"... More options are better, always, especially with such a staple feature in RTS/4X games, but it's not like there are no options at all.

We are about 2/3 bought and 1/3 didn't as of now. 69 - 37

Got the Founders edition for £77 on CDKeys, played it for an hour was disappointed, and couldnt get into it so left it. Didn't refund as felt it was good value long term. Wen't back to it and while concious of it still having flaws now have 600+ hours played.
