How much time does it take one game (up to win)? In average. At level Deity with standard setting.
For example in civ4 it takes about 10 hours, in civ it takes about 50 hours.
So, what about civ5?

I've had games that have been done and dusted in 3-4 hours and I've had games that have taken 12+.

Depends hugely on what you're doing, i.e. victory type aimed for, wars being fought, units, number of cities etc.

On average, I'd say about 6 hours here.

I have only ever played Marathon and I never go for conquest or even attack anyone(except to prove a point to sceptics), I only ever build from 1 - 5 Cities. I generally play versus 5 or 7 oponents and my games last from fifteen to fifty hrs.

Thanks for your answers!
It seems that it's about 10 hours on average. That is like in civ4)

Heh I've gotten deity wins in two hrs on standard settings on normal speed, course that was OCC culture, of which there's a lot of spamming end turn ;).
I'd say 4-6 hrs is more of an accurate assessment though. Generally by the time you get to deity play your decision making is quite abit faster, also the moment when you know you're going to win/lose comes faster ;).

I tend to take about 5 hours on a Standard game, and 10-15 on a Marathon. I think it's Marathon? The one that's not the longest, I haven't played the longest.
