I downloaded TETurkhan's Test of Time Earth Map 2.0 and wish to utilize TET's amazing modpack with said map.

How would I go about doing this? For personal use of course.

B-29_Bomber, welcome back at CFC after a long time. :band:[party]

With normal C3C editors 1.00 and 1.03 you can simply import the map of another biq (or some features of that map as shown in screenshot 3) to the biq of the mod by doing the following steps shown in the screenshots below and saving the new biq with a different name.

The biggest problem with this procedure are the resources that are placed on the map, that should be imported. If the resources don´t have the same place and name in the biq of the mod and the biq of the map, they will not show up in the map of the new 'combined' biq. The same happens if the names and slots of the resources in both biqs are at the same place, but the terrain setting of the mod does not allow that resource at the terrain, where it is placed in the imported map. In those cases all those resources that are not shown in the new biq must be added manually to that map (what can take a lot of time).
A big step forward to solve this problem is in the newest version of the Quintillus editor. :hatsoff: Here it is sufficient, that the resource in the mod and in the biq of the map have the same name and the terrain of the mod allows that resource in the terrain where it is placed in the biq of the imported map. With this editor it is no longer needed, that the resources must share the same slot in their biqs.

About the TETurkhan's Test of Time v.1.93:

Unfortunately this is a PtW version and therefore is missing some files of C3C and it is additionally haunted by the phantom resources bug, that was not known at the time when that version of the mod was created. TETurkhan's Test of Time Earth Map 2.0 seems not to be available at CFC any longer. Generally 362 x 362 maps without massive limitations in the terrain where cities can be founded, seem not to be a good idea for games, where new cities can be founded. Besides the problem of long gaming turns in the later stages of the game, you mostly run into the 512 cities limit of Civ 3 much too soon. The NCL-patches (No City Limit) are in reality a desaster for those games, as, when exceeding the 512th city, the games with those NCL-patches soon run into severe memory problems - and than your game is over. When City 543 is founded, none of the advisor windows could be opened any longer and when city 557 is founded, the game is freezing completely.
