I have some issues when I want to play internet games with a friend on the same LAN. Searching, I found it was because both computers try to have Civilization BTS use the same ports (2056).

"If these guys are playing from the same LAN over the internet with you, one of them likely will have to change the port that Civ uses. By default that is 2056, but if both games on that LAN are using 2056 the LAN router or server is going to have a difficult time deciding which computer to send the data too. Have one of them switch to 2057 in the bts.ini file and save."

But the thing is, I'm using Steam. And there's no such thing as a bts.ini file anywhere in the main folder. Where can I find this?

EDIT: My friend isn't using Steam, which might be the problem.

There's only a CivilizationIV.ini and changing the port in there doesn't work.
