How to change capitals (or is it capitols)?

I thought my first city was my capital....then I just noticed my 5th or 6th one has now got a star beside it.

I was wondering why there was so much corruption to the west.

How can you change capitals? Or can you?



This is my first post. Started playing this game 2 days ago. I'm not usually one for video games but this is freakin' amazing, eh?

You build the "Palace" improvement in the city you want your capital to be. I generally just leave it as my first city.

... and yes, it is "capital". The Capitol is a building in the capital city of the U.S.
