How to change production?

Hi
I would like to know whether (and how) you can cancel the production of a wonder if production has already started.
E.g. City 1 is producing the Forbidding City; I notice that I'd prefer City 2 to produce it instead; How do I cancel the production in City 1 so I can switch to City 2 (I like tried everything but I somehow couldn't cancel the production in City 1.....probably due to some oversight on my part)

Click on the forbidden city in the build queue of city 1 (bottom left corner of the city panel) and it will be removed from the list. You should then be able to select it in city 2. The production in city 1 won't actually be lost, so if you wanted to switch back for some reason you could pick up where you left off simply by telling city 1 to build it again.

I tried clicking on it, neither left click nor right click would remove it..... It was really strange as I thought this would work as well.

They changed it in warlords, so you can't have nothing in the production queue anymore (which is bloody lame, if you ask me). If you add another building/unit/whatever, so the forbidden palace is second in the queue, then you can click on it and cancel it.

Hmm... it seems to me that Warlords allows no items in the production cue for several turns if you have conqured a city. Correct me if I'm wrong, but until you make the first assignment, the city will come out of anarchy and just sit there producing nothing until you get it started.

in warlords once you capture a city it asks you to build something

Yo, I know that you can pause production of a wonder to build something else, but certain domestic wonders (ie: Forbidden Palace) cannot be switched to another city after started by any way that I know - short of the city being captured.
