How to disable ingame advice?

Does anybody know how to disable those circles where to place cities and where and to put terrain improvement? And the flashing buttons in the interface what terrain improvement should be build?

I unchecked the ingame advice options in the option menu but it does not work.
I think the game takes you to much by the hand with that advice.

For me they are gone in most instances, after i checked the box in the game settings - something about "not suggesting unit actions".

In some cases - epecially by newly build workers the markers still apear, but only in the first turn...

Yes, I was also annoyed by those circles, and switched them off in the game menu. To my great surprise they appeared on my next start-up, but disappeared after the first turn only to remain hidden in subsequent games (touch wood).

I tried that one but it did'nt work. I uninstalled the game and installed it again, checked this option and now it work fine.
Another bug I think, but thanx for trying to help none the less.

I like the circles, but I don't like the messeges that popup about building settlers, especially late in game and there is no place to build cities.
I get those every 3-4 turns in about 10 cities. Very annoying.
