How to export set of palette

Is there a way to export a pallet from an existing storyboard to a newly created storyboard? I use GIMP.

I'm still confused by GIMP's treatment of "palette" vs "colormap" and how to interact with palettes. But yes, you can reuse the same colors in another image. When you change the color mode to indexed (I have not found a way to "switch" palettes for an already indexed image), the dialog has an option to Use custom palette which includes the colormaps of open indexed images in the dropdown list. You can also permanently save an indexed image's palette colormap to this palette list from the Palettes window/tab by right-clicking the list and selecting Import Palette... and then choosing an open image as the source.
