Wish to play Civ4 at work PC, have slow PC at home:(
So how a can install it on my work PC, a haven't admin rights. What I should do?
Can I install Civ4 on my home PC and make copy of civ4 folder and just copy it to my PC at work?

without admin rights you cannot install the game on the pc.

Besides if you are located in the US, it is grounds for dismissal.

There has also been reports of people actually being sued by companies for doing so.

I am guessing that your work PC is actually a laptop that you are taking home with you every day.

The only thing i can think of is to contact the Technical support department of you company and buy them a whole bunch of donuts and then ask them to give you admin rights on your PC..,....

Sorry but that is all you can really do

Suxxx...
So if I just copy civ4 dir to my work PC it will not work?
It's really suxxx :'(

Probably not, as it makes registry changes, and probably adds files to the windows directory... you can try it and it might just create the registry setting for you depends on program if it works it works... You might be able get the registry stuff exported/imported depending on where the info is and how picky your rights are on you work machine, but I'll help you with neither. Being an IT myself I wouldn't suggest mentioning why you want admin rights, be vage of course that'll probaly get you a big NO. It would from me, if you said civ 4 well... you should pray that they are a civ4 fan because playing games or even browsing game forums are frowned upon at work, and can get you fired.

My company has a policy that says internet usage is for business purposes only, I never did sign that sheet...and if I id it is in my drawyer... Anyway it is best not to play on a work machine (though most won't have a decent video card anyway). Maybe it is time to upgrade your home machine...

Yeah, you might be right...
Also I can't find what sys requirements are good for huge maps.
Some tells that it's anought Athlon2000XP and ati_9600, and some one tells that even on Athlon64 3000 and 6600GT are realy slow.
