The title speaks for itself. I have no idea of how to load my units onto a boat, i know that the boat can carry troops, but i have no idea of how to get them on.

I really need help as i cannot continue my conquest without going over water!

Issue a move order for your units (right-click) into the tile where the boat is. Boats should be adjacent to land, of course. If the boat is in a city, send troops into the city and then click on the Load order - it will appear in the bottom pane where orders are.

Keep in mind that not all boats can carry all types of units. Some can't carry at all, others only carry certain types :)

Here's a quick rundown (unit in bold, req. tech in parantheses, and how many units) as of Vanilla. The BTS units will have to be supplied by someone else.
Galley(Sailing)-2 Units
Caravel(Optics)-1 Recon Unit OR Missionary OR Great Person
Galleon (Astronomy)-3 Units
Transport(Combustion, needs Oil)-4 Units

 I remember my very first vanilla game - I built an invasion fleet of 6 workboats :crazyeye: Three of them wound up as the most inefficient exploring units ever.
