So hai thar. Before I start to type out the game, 2 things. 1.) There are no pics. The reason for this is 2.) This is typed out entirely from memory, as I had no plans on "uploading" (or whatever) this. But let's go.

Game and Map Settings
Iraquois - Hiawatha
Continents - Standard, Advanced Settings tuned to have lotsa forest.
Prince
Random Opponents
No Barbs. I hate barbs.

Turn 1 and a bit
The game started decently. I start near some rivers and some Marble and Dyes, and quickly found my second city after 30 turns or so. I then stick with those two, churn out some Scouts, and build Barracks and Armouries in both. Trust me, this game would have been over a lot quicker if I hadn't built those. I then churned out 2 Mohawks, both with Drill and Medic promotions. I had met Japan, England and Arabia (Who already looked to be an extreme case of runaway) so far. Then I met Egypt.

Turn 70 point 4
Around turn 70 I met Egypt. We never got along. So when Arabia asked for a declaration of war against Ramsses, I said "Sure, they look weak". They were weak, but they took me by surprise. Harun the *censored* didn't even attack, so I took the entire of Egypts army (10 units) by myself. Although admitted, I was the defending guy, which wasn't part of the plan. But I fended off 10 units with 2 Mohawks and some city bombardment. Then I took his southern most city, seeing as he was to the north of me. As I was healing up and churning more Mohawks (I had founded an Iron city a few turns earlier, 3 sources of Iron within initial radius <3). I then took Thebes, as Harun had taken his other 2 cities.

Turn 137
Screw you Harun al-Rashid. The *censored*, who's empire and army were both around 3 times as big as mine, attacked me. He took 2 cities in two turns, and I kept producing Mohawks, which was kinda hard considering I was unhappy at the time =/ I actually held him off for about 5 turns, until his massive war machine inevitably overran my small army of Mohawks and Horsemen. I lost in 3 turns after that.

Summary
I have before held of massive attacks from the AI (not hard), but this time, his army was simply to goddamn big. Morale of the game? Build more goddamn units.

Dun worry, next time, I will (probably) have pics and a more exciting story XD

Yep the unpredictable, it happens. Things don't always go as planned and many times if you do end up pulling out of a bad situation, you will be so far behind you will lose in the end. I personally suck at early wars, its like give me my planes and a modern navy but until then I try to stay out of wars unless I know I will have an upper hand. I like a strong economy, strong science and large tech leads with lots of lux res flowing. If it don't go right and takes too long, a war can set you back if you are going for any other victory other then a domination or time. Even if you are doing good, I like my wars to go quick as possible and be over. Long drawn out wars with a powerful civ is a sure road to defeat for me especially on higher difficulty levels.
