I recently played a 1.14f game of PTW, where the nukes just went flying. Soon enough the sun was red, blah blah blah.

First off, the nukes don't terraform, which was interesting.

But anyway, I noticed global warming prioritized forests and jungles.

Therefore, in one of my corrupt, unimportant places, I started planting hoards of trees. Like, 2 forests a turn :p (oh yeah, HOARDS of them!). Since global warming in PTW seems much smaller, I was able to control it with this forest, plus a jungle across the world.

To top it off, global warming in PTW is great for deforestation! Who needs industrious workers when you got nukes?

Hygro, what exactly are you saying here? That you've found that the randomly terraformed squares are less random and that forest and jungle has higher chances to become terraformed?

If so, that's a great discovery (I didn't hear it before anyway). Forest planting even makes a little bit sense here.

I think this may be a new thing in PTW to make pollution less annoying. I never noticed this in vanilla civ3, but my last modern age ptw game I did. There must have been about 30 tiles that were terraformed due to global warming, and every one of them was forest or jungle being cleared.

Yeah, this is ONLY PtW.
