Heres my problem, with the old patch 17f, when I had a large number of units on a city, lets say 50 tanks, and I wanted to move em all to a fixed location, I would hit "j" and then click where I wanted em to go, and all the units, fortified or not, would head out on their merry way. Now, with patch 21f, I can't do this, and only those units who are activated work by hitting "j". Is there anyway to move all units of one type at once, fortified or not, without activating them all. Also, if there anyway to fortify all units of one type at once? Plz help me.

the faact that all units would move irritated many players, becausse it would strip your town of its garrison if you moved a combined attckforce, say Knights and Pikemen.... ups, all of them out, city undefended....
I read something about a sleep command as in Civ2, 'j' should pick up sleepers but not fortified troops - this might help ou. but I don`t remember where I read this - will get it into the FAQ if I find it---

...Just in case Killer's response isn't clear:
You have to wake any Fortified troops first before they will 'j'. Use 'Shift-Right-Click' to wake them all up (let go of the shift key at the last one you wake).
And, just for the fun of it...
To round up a bundle of units from different squares:
'j' from first stack to 2nd stack, now 'j' again to 3rd stack, etc.
