HOW!? to open .pak file?

In the game "NEMESIS of THE ROMAN EMPIRE" and there are some pretty cool units but they are packed in .PAK files! Now I know there are programs that can open pak files but the only one I found was "spacepak" version: 0.11 and when I try to open those pak files it says: ERROR reading PAK file!
Please Help!

IIRC, theres a civ 4 .pak unpacker. i'm not sure though...

Nope it ain't working for the .pak files but for .FPK_layout

Here is the results of a FILExt search for .pak with some programs. You might also like to try 7zip.

IIRC, WinRAR works with .pak files (as well as .ace files, .zip files, .rar files, .cab files, and a number of other formats).

Macmatt I have downloaded those program, and they don't work too!
Hikaro Takayama I tryed to open them with WinRAR and WinZIP and it doesn't work.

perhaps it would be the easiest to ask the person how packed it directly (pn) which program to use...if it does neither work with winzip,winrar,7zip.. hmm don't know about winace(?I used this program a loooong time age on my old pc under Win 98SE...)

Try Dragon Unpacker. It worked on several games (Uplink, Wolfenstein), so it might work here.
