How to play CIV2

Hello my dear friends and fellow Civ2 Fanatics.

I recently got this urge to play Civ2 again, after all those decades. Specifically the Fantasy worlds scenarios I never played.
But where can I buy, obtain the CDs or ISOs or play the game ?

I did try an online emulator but the performance there is really way to slow.

I was once owner of the origina CDs but thats lke ages ago.

Well I have been in many wars here at civfanatics as you can tell from my joined date. I grew too old and tired for that as you can see in my picture.
I don´t really care anymore.
I am aware of the links posted in this thread so far. My concern is security and safetyof these downloads.

Will I be able to load even the old official scenarios from conflicts in civilization and fantasy world into ToT?
I know it's unbelievable, but even after all those years I didn't finish them all.
Now I am more open to scenarios and even some custom ones.

As far as I am aware (but someone can correct me if I'm wrong) the scenarios that shipped with MGE haven't been updated to ToT format yet. However, just about every great scenario ever yet completed by our community has been updated, with more and more being added each day. Just take a look at the downloads section here. I did send you a PM asking if you needed help finding a copy of ToT, if you had a concern with the download links provided.
