How to rebase ICBM (Nuke weapon)

In the civ4, ICBM(Nuke weapon) can't be rebased, it can only stay in the city where it is built.
How can I rebase ICBM to another city and load it to submarine or battleship just like a missle?

I think it needs to change the UnitInfoXML, but I don't know what to do?

Could you give me some suggestion?

The people making the game probably didn't think anyone would want to re base ICBM's because of their unlimited range. If you want them in one city you'll have to build them all in one city.

potatokiosk is right. They are not mobile.

You can't move ICBMs. I guess the logic was that since they have unlimited range there's no point in moving them. About the only reason I can see to move them is if the city is in danger of being captured, but for some reason you don't want to use the nuke.

That is the point. I want to gather all my ICBM in a safe city.

I think changing the XML can realise it, but I don't know how to edit.

It's very frustrating trying to figure out where all of my ICBMs are while I'm at war. I usually put them to sleep so I don't have to click every turn but inevitable I forget where I put them. I specialize practically everything else and I wish I could do that with ICBMs as well.

^^ i suppose you can just go into the military advisor and select your icbms to flash their locations on the map, which you can do with regular units

Yeah I figured there was some way to do things like that, but even then it gets a bit tedious when you are coordinating several armies during a war.

Changing the entry for their domain from <Domain>DOMAIN_IMMOBILE</Domain> to <Domain>DOMAIN_AIR</Domain> should do the job. :nuke::):nuke:

That's damn great advice there!

And well, moving ICBMs can be a treat! Think about it! You can move them all in one city where it's safe and far behind the front line. OR you could rebase them in allied cities! Especially if your ally's territory is all concealed to danger. You maximise your missiles survivability! In latter game and when and if the AI decides to build nukes it might be a matter of a few ICBMs surviving a crushing first strike whether you'll win that war or not...Do it for your civ, do it for the motherland...

I pledge you...don't argue against the point I just made. Just take it for granted. Moving ICBMs around is good. I am always right. Yes I am...

It sounds like a nice idea, but are there any unpleasant side effects? Wouldn't want it to glitch up how the AI tries to use them or anything...

There are many reasons for rebasing them. That is only just one of them.

My biggest problem is you can't gift them to anyone. @^@#$^#%!@#%$$@#%

Ho ho ho! I just suddenly flashed on Montezuma and Isabella having a little war on the other side of the world.

You: Hey Monte, got a little gift for you. Be careful with it.
Monte: Hokay!
Izzy: :mad::nuke::nuke::nuke:

That could be interesting. Only in my last few games did I realize how much fun it can be to pit two civs against each other.

Why yes you can and it's actually very easy. Move the target cursor to your city that needs the nuke and press the launch button. Same with subs too. The people will be overjoyed to see the city now has its own nuke.
