How to see the whole map properly?

I've searched around, but I can't find answers. In Civ 6 (on a PC using Steam at least) I can't zoom out and see the whole map. The "best" I can get is the postage-stamp-sized thingy in the lower left corner. When I last participated in this forum 2 years ago I seem to recall much lamentation being voiced over this odd deficiency. But is there a mod? Or am I missing a setting (which I doubt)? Strategizing is often so much more difficult because I can't see the "big picture."

Plus, sometimes, I just want to admire my empire in all its glory at a single glance!

I just found the "enhanced camera" mod at Steam, and it seems to increase the zoom range of the "camera" (oh, is that what it's called?) by a factor of 2. Certainly a big improvement, but that still doesn't capture the whole world when playing on a "huge" map. Even if it did, the names of the cities would become crowded together and make a real mess of things. Any mod that aims to display a huge map in its entirety would need to shrink the city labels proportionally, or remove the city status info (keeping just the name), or else remove the labels completely. That would still be cool.

Best you can do is go to menu/options and change mini map size. You can minimize and expand mini map at will.

Better report screen gives a better overview of your civ. The "city" tab is expecially useful for seeing how empire is working. I'm always checking yields/resources/city to see at a glance how the empire is functioning and where I am missing a tweak.

IIRC, Civ4 let you zoom way, way out. But Civ6 doesn't support zooming that far. Neither does Civ7; I can't remember about Civ5, but I don't think that it supports a greater "zoom out" than Civ6.

Don't know about 5, but 4 had nice zoom AND world editor that worked well. 4 also had an info screen that showed the production of the other civs and a progress map, and and and....

I like the city tab info, but if, theoretically, one could zoom out to view the entire map, it should probably be suppressed so as not to clutter up things too much. Ideally the tabs should shrink proportionally as one zooms out. The UI is rife with microfiche-sized text anyway, so why should the developers shy away from making the city tabs smaller on a large-scale view?

Is there a mod that makes it possible to see the entire map in a screen shot? I thought I saw that done here sometimes, but I'm not sure. It's been 2 years.

I can report that the "enhanced camera" mod is working very well.
