How to spread religion?

Hello there.
Lately I've decided to spread the 2nd religion i "invented" long time ago(the first one was Hinduism and the 2nd is Christianity).It it quite late in the game (early industial era) and i have problems with spreding it over my empire .How can i make it spread besides using missionarys (i have only 3 christian missionarys left to build since the limit)?

Wrong forum, this is for Creation and Customization.

But aside from that, there's not much you can do except cross your fingers. Missionaries are the only way you have to actively spread your religion. Building a Shrine helps, but other than that it's all chance.
