Recently I had to reinstall PSP8 after finding out why it still said that I was using a trial version even through I had installed a store bought one  Anyways after reinstalling it I started to work on something I then went to the clicked on help to find out something, this is where it gets odd: My screen crashed. My harddrive was still running but the screen was black, I hit the power button on the screen but that just shut it off, then I turned it back on but the screen was still black. I forced restarted my computer via the ctrl-alt-delete combo and opened the program again and click on help with the same resaults: my screen crashed. I am puzzled as to how a screen can crash. What is going on? I have never heard of a screen crash before in my life.

It seems to be a problem with your graphics card, I would set hardware acceleration to zero and try again (system -> enhanced graphics) to prove that.

I could happen. If PSP8 tried to force a res or refresh rate that your monitor didn't support, you might get a result like this.

But I don't know why PSP8 would try and change the res/refresh.

have you emailed their customer service? No, really. ;)
