Hurrying Great Library?

Ok. I think I get it! It's kinda like makíng a moving wall with three units to stop an enemy settler... The enemy will try to move around it, and all you have to do is to move in the same way, and he'll never come around until you let him... when you've grabbed the land.

The techs just pop out at you huh? LOL, that sounds pretty cool Arathorn.

I think I'll be putting the GL on the agenda in my next campaign.

BTW do you know if you still get the techs from a contacted civ if you are at war with them?

its moving a unit across great distances by moving units from one ship, and then loading them onto another ship, and then moving that ship to another ship, etc. This way units can cross huge oceans in 1 turn.

This may not a bug. Think of it this way... You can travel across the continent with train in on turn. Think about the end of turn as time to refuel and stuff... But if you have a lot of ships, there is no need for that. I've never bothered doing this in civ 3, since it requires too much work and is only necessary on rare occations.

The Great Libray was NOT vital in almost all games I have played. You can win Sid games without one.
