It always bothered me that the hypaspist included in the vanilla civ was so under equiped. They were supposed to be the elite of the Macedonian battlelines for pitty's sake! If they had no armor it doesnt matter how good you are, aint gonna last long in a heavy battle. So with this in mind I reskinned the hypaspist with a heavier iron curiass. Hope you all enjoy

Yea, I am about to start a spearman version as they were also known to use spears in battle. They didnt use them like the greeks in a phalanx formation, instead they use an over head grip kindda like u would throw a javalin. I hope to have it ready soon

Here we go, as I stated in an earlier post, I have completed a Hypaspist Spearman. In classical Macedon around the time of Alexander the hypaspist fought with both spears and swords. While fraxis have not included a spearman version of the orginial sword version of this unit I have created one from the spearman unit.

thanks Geomodder, I used the Rome Total Realism mod for Rome Total war as a reference. I will look for a macedonian emblem, although if you have one I would be much obliged if you could send me a copy Thanks for the compliments thou

yea there are more in the pipeline, but cant talk bout them now as I dont even know what Im gonna do yet until I see a unit that gives me an idea. Or maybe Ill release some of my as yet unreleased skins, ones that I keep to my self Anyways glad you like them
