There is a problem with Steam and they dont seem to want to or to be able to fix it.
Civ 5 stops working in the middle of a game because of the local cache, a faulty module of which Steam promises to reacquire. It probably does; and the game works until the next faulty module in the local cache, which will need to be reacquired, etc.
Meanwhile, the relaxing game I had planned turns to an IT problem -- I have enough of those during the day.
Folks in charge: you have to understand that as problematic as CIV 5 is, Steam problems on top of CIV 5 problems irredeemably defeats the whole proposition.
I aint gonna play your game no more and I dont mean just CIV 5.
