It has sometimes bothered me that the AI on higher difficulties declare an early war which they can not win. But neither can I. The result is an eternal small struggle. With war weariness that really wears you down despite not losing.
What if you had an option to Make Deal "I am willing to sign a 1:1 peace treaty from now on". As long as the option/offer is "up" you face severly reduced war weariness. "The war is awful but the enemy will not relent. We must fight on!"
Or would this be another way of exploiting the AI?
