I apologize, but seek assistance

First the apology - I know there's a million of these threads already, but the search feature has failed to help me. I understand the annoyance this causes - I'm a moderator on one of the internet's largest guitar tab sites. Now I'm a noob again and I'm so lost!

I have the darkness problem.

Running Win XP Pro on a 2.8Ghz Pentium 4 with a SiS 661FX VGA adapter. I've already installed the latest drivers from SiS, changed every option available, and yet still nothing.

Please give me some help here. I'm just a technologically inept musician!

Then your best bet is to manually scroll through the bug and tech support forums...you will come across many recent threads on this issue without going to far...check out the ones with multiple pages or a lot of views - they usually have most of the fixes. Especially look for the nVidia threads since that is the type card you ahve.


There is no real 'solution" yet that works for everybody, it's hit or miss...some workarounds also are available that may allow you to play but at the cost of some features.

A patch is coming out next week...you may want to keep an eye out for it.

Okay, good to hear. My processor is more than capable of taking on the task of the T&L stuff. Even at over a year old 2.8GHz is nothing at which to scoff.
