I called the Corperate Office of EB/Gamestop

Just to let you guys know,

I contacted the corperate offices of EB/Gamestop. They were very friendly and told me that it is scheduled to go out in TODAY's shipment, and will be in stores TOMORROW. NO stores have had it shipped to them yet, according to them.

Thanks for the update. I was ready to call them myself. I am however still worried that not enough copies got made for the huge volume that was ordered. Hopefully when I get home from work I will see that great email telling me that my order has been shipped.

BTW..has anyone that pre-ordered from Amazon or EB have their orders shipped yet?

dont think EB has sent out any tracking #'s yet, those are usually midday. Tracking info is sort of useless for an overnight shipment as it takes 24 hours or so to enter the tracking system with UPS and USPS.

I will confirm that our shipments are going out today and will be arriving wednesday. It appears either a mistake was made by Take2, causing our companies to incorrectly expect the game a day early, or some other factor caused a delay in shipping -- Wednesday should now be the arrival date.

Yeah - so all posts about having the game are either premature "website says it's in, I'm running out the door to the store now"-kind-of-posts, or just a hoax.

There are still no confirmed sightings of the game in stores ANYWHERE. I hope somebody gets lucky and magically finds a copy, but it doesn't seem likely today.

Well in that case, since I'm on the east coast, and I don't work (college is great) I should be one of the first people to be playing this game (besides the beta testers). BTW, I just called my gamestop, she said they hoped it was in by this time tomorrow (noon) but they weren't sure. She also said I would definitely get it tomorrow.
