I can't upgrade my warriors

In my current game, it won't let me upgrade my warriors. I've had this happen occasionally with this and other units and I can't figure out why. I'm playing as the French. I have researched iron working. I have a barracks and access to iron in the city that I am attempting to upgrade the warrior in. Does anyone know of another requirement that needs to be met? I attached a game save.

Do you have enough gold in your treasury?

Haven't checked the save, but thanks for posting it. Do you have the cash to upgrade?

Edit: checked the save. I don't know exactly how much gold you need to upgrade a warrior to a sword in PTW, but I know it's more than 18 gold.

I'm pretty sure you need 40 gold in order to upgrade a warrior to a swordsman.
