I dont know what the big deal is

I have a freaking p3 800 256 ram, i bought the game for ****s and giggles,(i intended to buy a new box) and it actually runs on my system! I do need a better card and more ram,to be purchased today or tommorow ) but it works, and damn does it seem lovely!

ive read one kid playing with an 800 702 ram and a decent card, having no problems.

Here let me restate my performace.

Videos run like a fat kid.
No ingame music.
playing with one other civ, on dual size map.
Did i mention i get the mighty black terrain?

As of right now no wait in between turns

ill update you, if i can bear the balck terrain that is.

If not ill have to wait till wednesday to get down and get civilized.

Yeah with duel sized map it's no big deal, I got all the way to year 2000 with no problem. If you try medium though, there will be problems once you hit late 19th century. The game is either barely playable or unplayable, depending on your threshold for patience.
