even when I try to see my spaceship program now I can´t, is the program launch by itself ? Or what should I do to launch it because I don´t know if it was send already automatically when you finished the space shi. Or should I destroy the Apollo Program other civilizations is making ?. Tahnks in advance.

You can't launch the ship if someone has already won. The most likely thing is that it's past 2050AD, so there already has been a histographic victory.

Normally, the ship just launches by itself.

And welcome to CFC!

I think that in addition to the possibiliy that the game was won or lost already, you may not have SS victory enabled. I cannot recall if you can still build parts, if it is not enabled. I know you can still build the small wonder.

If SS victory isn't enabled, it should be impossible to build parts.

If you look in the bottom right hand corner there is a small button with "s" on it,
click on it then you see a nice big button saying launch on it, press that if you built all the parts

I already past the year 2050 and I was the winner, but I can´t launch it, however other civilization is still building the space ship, so I don´t unerstand if it was lauched automatically? Is some sign that tell you you already launched it ? Thanks for your answer, best regards.

There's actually a movie that plays showing the launch. The movie lasts for about 2 minutes, so you couldn't just accidentally miss seeing it. :)

The game was finished, so no one can launch. All victory conditions are moot now.

CivAssistII will tell you if the game is finished, and if so, what victory condition was met. And I beleive by whom.

guys its the year 1880 im with sumerians and finished the spaceship(i had always 70% at researching) till 1 turn before i finished the tenth part, i could see the spaceship.... but then nothing... I PRESS THE S BUTTON LIKE A CRAZY MAN AND NOTHING but at victory screen... st shows that i can win with space race. is it because i already won by cultural(have 1 city with 20 wonders and 30000 culture):confused::confused:

Yes as I said, if any victory condition is met, the others will be not be valid.

even if it isnt related, the space ship clip is cool i dun no why but i loved (lol normaly for me its imposible to do the space ship victory cuz i usualy conquer the other or have too many wonders in 1 city...)

btw can i ask you something vmxa? i see u posted alot, so i want to ask you how good u are at this.... if u play a huge map at normal game how much time u need to finish it and how u finish it?

You mean in terms of real hours played? I can't say as a I normally start up when I get up and leave it up till I go to bed. During that time I may be out of the house for as little as an 1 hour or for several hours. I may watch some tv or whatever comes up.

IOW the game thinks I played 14 or so hours, but it could be anything from 6-11. Last few weeks I hardly played as I have been playing RPG's.

In terms of game dates, I usually play for conquest and am in no hurry. Depends on the level and type. A huge map on Sid as a conquest takes a fair amount of time as they have thousands of units to kill.

Also I rarely go on a blitz to end it quickly. By that I mean, get up a number of cav armies and just go out and raze all the towns, once you have themn down to a few civs left.

Never really paid any attention to date/time. For a long time I played a lot of 250x250 AW games. If you are interest in fast wins, check with the HoF as they have lots of them to get an idea of how soon you can get a victory.

Just remember those are usually selected maps.

i usualy battle noly at chieftain and win culturaly in 3.5 hours... it says at the end of the game

a game like this shouldnt be only conquest if i play multiplayer they only conquest i hope that one day players wil play games for culture diplomatic or space race (on a huge map , if u lay with max 8 more civs everybody has space for development)

Generally, I find that to get a faster finish date requires longer play time.

The smaller the map and the lower the level the faster the finish.
