I had problems before but not anymore

I was having problems to at first where it would crash and lock up the whole computer. After reading many posts I tried everything. Then I tried the patch and other things same problems, I have a radeon ati 9800 pro card which came with drivers etc. My computer had a stock nvidia graphics card with its own set of driver rules. I deleted the nvidia drivers FOR JUST THE GRAPHICS CARD. As the rest they say is history, they were conflicting with each other some how causing multiple crashes. Good luck and happy hunting.
