Catz!!!
Sorry guys, but I need to vent. Nothing wrong with the game, it's just...
I'm a Commie, in the industruial age, still trying to conquer the world. I got rubber from my gracious friends the Chinese, oil from the Germans (Who are still furious with me, BTW), can't even trade gpt for tech to the Chinese who are gracious towards me (Yet, he didn't want to extend an MPP we had and I was giving him 26 gold for it. Yet when I propose a deal he'll accept the MPP and 26 gpt... Go figure.
Mao's a nut).
Persia delcared war on the Chinese, so I declared war on them, and got the Zulu involved in the fray. Who hasn't done a single thing to them! Nor has China, for that matter.
Now, the thing I hate is I can support 172 units, have about 80, am thinking of creating a good naval power and around 70-80 infantrymen to bust down Persia (Which I intended to do anyway. but had to pull back because they had infantry). Most everyone is in the Modern age, while I'm stuck in the industrial still trying to discover flight
Babylon declared war with me after I declined his demands to give him saltpeter (What does he need saltpeter for in the modern age, anyway?), and so attacked one city of mine with a horde of knights... I think I should have used spearmen rather than calvary and riflemen to defend thatcity though... Anyway.
The thing I hate is that it's going to take me forever to build the 70-80 infantry I want, transports for them, and a suitable naval power, and then only get a few cities since defended units get such a bonus in huge metropolises. 6/20 does not suit well in my favor.
Oh well. If only a turn didn't take so long...
