As a player that does't like to go to war this is a pretty nice feature. Some AI i dont like start a war on a CS and all of the sudden that CS has some modern armor in their inventory :P Love it that i can gift units without it putting me at war.

Unfortunately the AI like to sue for peace ones its getting its ass kicked so i wish there was some way i could keep the wars going. Its also a bit annoying to watch the AI squander my expensive gifts with bad strategy.

me 2, i like to do a cold war and let someone else do all the fighting for me.

I am thinking if having a far CS as allied and gifting it 15 units in one turn on a far continent is cheating or not, I mean that's a kind of Star Trek teleportation....

If you let a fight go on for awhile the CS will be at a "permanent state" of war with the other civ. In one game, Monty started attacking city states and eventually due to the CS banding together, they declared a locked state of war on him.

I have no idea how they got those infantry units... honestly!

I just played a "peaceful" game for a cultural victory, where I kept most of the AI civs busy fighting city-states that I kept supplied with units that had been graciously supplied to me by my militaristic city-state allies. :D

There is. Make them CS to go on permawar with them. Easy, just continue to make sure the CS survives the attacks of that civ. If that civ really wants that CS, it will keep declaring again on that CS and eventually CS will be in permawar with that civ.

In my current game it so happens that my BFF Wu is on permawar with CS that is my ally. Very weird triangle.
I just keep an eye on them and if they get a little overrun by Chinese, I'll give them a unit (rifleman) > they'll clear the area of Chu-ko-nu's... And go on a rampage into Chinese lands suiciding the rifleman... And that will go on as long as world exist... well until I win the science victory that is...

EDIT: Oh... :ninja:
