Hello, civ fanatics friends...I have Civ III - not PTW, and I have one or two questions...
I need information(if this is possible), how to build wonder (like other computer civilizations-in WARLORD difficulty, which bulid any wonder, in 2-5 turns directly when they research some Tehnology for example tech. Pottery-wonder Piramids).Do you know how to make this...of course if this is possible.This is first question, also I have another question...
...How to research some tehnology for 2 turns except in domestic advisor to increase Science percentage and not losing gold...
I think that is all...if somebody know this I please him to tell me...because I want to play on Diety level and have power like other civilizations..

building a wonder
first have the technology make sure you can build it some require prerequistes like the Collosus can only be built at a port city
Make sure it is not built already
then goto city you want the build preferably the one with the most shield production and not being wasted.
The best way is to open the city screen and scroll down to the bottom where they are and select it. Then wait x amount of turns. I usually don't bother with wonders early cause they take forever to build. yuou can increase science by changing the tax rates from taxingand luxury to science and you can build libraries and universities and you can make specialist by taking someone off working and make them be specialist and then change the entertainer to science guy

The AI seems like it can build a wonder in a few turns because they were already building a wonder they had the tech for then switched to another after they got the tech for it. You can do that too.

As far as playing on deity, read the forum.

Also, start building a palace where you want the wonder. You can do this in any city except the one that already has the palace. When you have the tech to build the wonder, switch over to building the wonder. This method is called pre-building. (It doesn't HAVE to be a palace - just a big project that will let you save up the shields before you switch).

A Leader also can get you a wonder in a hurry...one turn to be exact.

If you want to become a Deity player, read many of the articles in the War Academy. I highly recommend Cracker's Opening Play Sequence. Another good idea is to check out some of the threads in the Succession Game section of the Stories forum. I learned a lot from some of the Training Games that Sulla (and recently Sirp) ran.

Or...even try to join a succession game, whether a training game or otherwise. It really makes you concentrate on playing well, and you get to discuss strategies with team mates.

When I first heard about the succession game concept I thought it was basically a very very 'lame' attempt at multiplayer in a single player game. I also thought that the level of play would be lower than if one person played. However after seeing them in action I realized that there is a great opportunity to learn, the level of play is high - very high in some cases - and it's alot of fun.
