I need urgent Help!

I dowloaded some units of another forum including Eastern Pikeman unit and i put the files i dowloaded into the directory civ3/art/units in a folder named after the unit ,I followed the tutorials contained in this site about new units, but i still can't see them in my game. i know somebody else had the same problem, but I can't find this post or the answers to it.I think my big problem is when I save the file, is it a .bic file?Please can anybody help me?Please!!!!
