I Really Really Want A Hack!!!!!!

I'm fed up of playing fair. I need a hack that i can edit a saved game with. I dont need gold, ive earned an honest 30000 already, but all because of one mutual protection act, ive ended up at war with almost all countries. I need to be able to enable civ advances at my will, and creat units at my will. Similar to that of the old chea screen in previous civ games if possible.

As someone said on another thread, save the game under the name of 'multi' and reload it. You can then cheat to your hearts content.

Still, what's the point? It won't be Civ3.

Crusader Joe has an amazing Civ III game hack called Power Bar, and you can find it here:. It let's you do all sorts of evil things to your opponents as well as do things to help yourself out.

One of the biggest problems with Civ III is the lack of a Cheat Mode, and lack of scenario building.

BTW, I used (as did most of us) the Cheat Mode for alot more than simple "cheating"; anyway, the AI regularly cheats in Civ III.

Wasting? He will be wasting his money if he doesn't enjoy his game. If cheating improves enjoyment then go right ahead. If it's not MP and it's not GOTM then there's no-one to cheat and just one person to please.

heh, if you're worried about the AI cheating, simply don't play the higher difficulty levels. :crazyeyes

Not to be "pompous", but when did cheating ever make a game more fun? I've never heard anybody say they cheated and then enjoyed the game; usually they cheat and then get bored quickly because there's no challenge anymore. I think that's all Black Waltz was saying.

Can you please discount me from "most of us". I've never had the urge to cheat. If a game is not living up to expectations, then I'll restart it.

And when I say expectations, I was fortunate to start in a nice location.

I probably restart a game if I think I won't enjoy it. Probably that is why ppl want to cheat, or not cheat depending on which camp they've pitched their tent, so to speak

Either the AI isn't any good.
Or it cheats.

It ain't both, so really STFU already and create some new arguments for a change, yours are old as dirt.

I wish you'd stop putting Zouave's quotes in your posts. My life has been so much better since adding Zouave and Troyens to my ignore list, but I'm still forced to see "The AI Cheats!" at least once a day in replies.

Oh well, another day ruined....

Keep fighting though Cerryl, I gave up a while ago.
