I hope this doesn't sound pathetic, but I just lost a game to Asoka of India and only one civ was on the continent with me, Zululand. Asoka won a space race victory against me and I was playing as Huayna Capac of Inca. The game was on a large continents map on normal speed and it was on noble difficulty. I plan on playing a new game with the same settings and as Inca again. I understand the basics and fundamentals of the game, but am only a slightly above average player at best. I will post saved games this time, but please tell me what to post and how often. The areas I really need advice on are going to war successfully and adapting my economy so it stays strong in the mid and late game. As usual, any advice is greatly appreciated.

Post the start, then post a screen after moving your starting unit. Then decide where to settle (with the help of others on here). Then post at T15, T25, T50, T100, 1 AD and beyond. And more often when you're stuck or fighting a war.

in a continents map quechua rushing isn't quite viable. you'll need to travel quite a bit and shaka goes for metal fast.
Also, that map script doesn't generate lots of rivers, so financial isn't as overpowered.
wonderbuilding with industrious is always tempting, but can prove fatal
shaka is a mighty oponent to be isolated with

that being said, following Fippy's thread will prove useful: https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/beginner-help-the-basics.648469/

it also happens that playing a lower dificulty doesn't challenge you and doesn't make prioritizing good strategies as important, so at least I tended to play in a sloppy way (still do, just less). Above coment by jorissimo WILL prove useful, don't disregard it

Then post at T15, T25, T50, T100, 1 AD and beyond.
This. If you struggle at noble you are making a lot of mistakes. One might even argue you cannot master the basics if you aren't absolutely crushing noble.

With that out of the way - If you are brave enough to post your game people will help you and you will learn. More vague things, dothis's and dothat's won't help you much. Your choice.

this was a shadow game played out to the end on Monarch. Using Ramesses / Egppt
