I think I know why the patch crashed

I had been having dificulties with the patch, it would not install. I think I have figured out why. I have civ4 installed on an external drive (F. I think this is making the Patch installer try to install on drive C:\. What should I do to fix this problem?

could it be, that the installer only accepts the default path as valid installation directory?

if so, i really thing, they should fix that asap, as i too am unable to patch up to 3.19 from 3.17 on my machine ...

sadly no error message at all, just a plain CtD when clicking 'Start Installing' after accepting Terms and Registration pages ...

I am very disappointed atm ...

edit: my registry entry for BtS was corrupt and did not point to the right directory ... now all is fine ^^
