i want to try being a vassal

is there anyway or threshold so i can ask a civ to be their vassal and get that accepted. I still want to win but as a vassal. probably space ship or i dream of a cultural victory. I dont know how hard culture victory is. Do you only have to put the culture slider at 100% plus 2 or 3 wonders in 3 cities ?

i play on noble...yeah and always win. i'm like that. I'm just trying to get the domination victory the quickest.

First of all, it's impossible to do normally.

Just enter Worldbuilder -> Diplomacy Mode (the hands shaking button) -> choose you as the player in the leftmost box -> below that, click 'Set as vassal of [insert AI you want to be vassaled to here]"

i absolutely have to lose a war ? or you're saying a human cant be vassal to AI ?

Humans can't vassal to the AI w/o changing rules. They can vassal to other humans...and yes I've done it by accident in a co-op vs AI game before . I had to spend 10 whole turns as someone's vassal! Agony! The only time I've ever suffered such humiliation...

As stated above, you can only become vassal to AI via worldbuilder.

Domination as a vassal would be funny as you can't declare war as a vassal - only your master decides. Let us know if you are able to get dom victory as vassal.

There is a bit of a bug with becoming a vassal to an AI when no trade routes are established - your AI master will keep asking for the same resource even if you can't give it - so make sure you have a trade route established before you become a vassal with your master if you go by the WB route.

One huge advantage of being a vassal to an AI is that your master will gift you techs that he has (not straight away but eventually).

Sounds like a cruel joke to me, since obviously domination as a vassal is impossible most of the time.

The master could just keep taking your target as vassals.
