What's the point of having a registered copy of the game if the support is not fixing your problems ?!?
I can not play Civ 4 because of freezes (I have to restart my comp) and because of occasional black terrain---instaled the "mighty" patch,instaled new chipset drivers,instaled every possible nVidia driver,defragment hard drive,reinstalled windows,tried to splash my comp with holy water,been at some african medicine man,pray to every god there is,run around in circles calling for the rainclouds to go away,called help from a alien race (they don't fix unfixeble stuff),offered my comp to be assimilated by the Borg,offered myself to be assimilated by the Borg...I did everything you could imagane...and guess what it didn't worked.
Not to mention that for 2 weeks myself and many others from this forum played a role of a beta-testers (and didn't get payed
),doing the job that some1 else shold be doing hoping that they will heal our problems.
I can't return (BTW I have the French version of the tech tree and no manual in the box,and no one has sent me the right version(english) and not to mention the manual) the game because I bought it in Greece,so 50 euro has gone with the wind (BTW in my country-Macedonia the average pay for a month of work is 200 euro).
So there will be no buying games from Fraxis nor from 2K for me anymore.
I say NO MORE,NO MORE...
From this day forward I will become a pirate gamer.
If I want to test a game I'll test it and I will pay myself for doing that with getting a game for 0,8 euro not for 50 euro.
This has crossed the line...
I will never ever recommend any game ever to be bought (I <snip> one of my friend also by telling him to buy Civ 4,so we can paly together).
